501(c)(3) COMMUNITY CHARITY IN AUSTIN TX

Universal design initiative

Edenlab

A disability-led community research & development lab.Care is infrastructure.
We build accordingly.

We don’t need another reactive response for unaccountable America. We need a breakthrough.EDENLAB STUDIES SUCCESSFUL global approaches to care infrastructure and community-based support systems, with the goal of informing new models of disability-led design and resilience in the UNITED STATES.research initiatives exploring:
• aging and disabled demographics
• loneliness & trauma cycles
• comparative care structures
• patient-led systems and design

Try giving a shit

The "ROI" is Return on Impact

WE DESIGN FOR REAL CONDITIONS
Not hypotheticals. Not ideals.
Real bodies. Real constraints. Real systems.
EdenLab is a disability-led research initiative
building the next generation of care infrastructure, independence, and human-centered systems.
We don’t imagine the future.
We test it in real life.

Why Does any of this matter?

Down with extractivism

Within the current hegemonic, hierarchical structure we reside in today, extractivism is not only present—it is normalized, incentivized, and embedded into the very systems that shape our lives. It is fueled and encouraged, but only at the expense of our bodies, our minds, and the planet itself. We are asked to produce without pause, to consume without question, to optimize without ever being given the space to understand what we are optimizing for. Taking becomes habitual. Eating becomes automatic. Growth becomes detached from meaning—measured in scale rather than in sustainability, in output rather than in well-being.Many of us feel it.
The friction.
A quiet but persistent awareness that something is off. That taking for the sake of taking leaves us emptier. That consumption without intention erodes rather than nourishes. That growth, when unexamined, can become indistinguishable from harm.EdenLab presents a creative alternative.

We operate

at the intersection of body, system, and design—centering lived experience as a form of intelligence rather than an afterthought. We seek to identify where systems fail, where access breaks down, and where human needs have been overlooked or deprioritized in favor of efficiency and scale. From this place, EdenLab builds.
It prototypes, researches, and reimagines technical, physical, and cultural infrastructure—asking not how much can be taken, but what can be supported. It treats care as infrastructure, access as a baseline, and innovation as something that must hold up under the weight of real, lived conditions. We fail fast towards a hopeful tomorrow, it’s all we have.

Meet the people moving the mountain

This is one of countless movements to bring the makers of the world together in peace, truth, justice and the common good. We stand against policy violence, abandoned communities, and the normalization of destruction. If your heart is intelligent, you belong here.
